Norwalk Republicans are hosting a "Pizza and Palin" fundraiser Thursday night.  John Romano of Romano's Pizza is opening his home to anyone wishing to hang out with Norwalk's Republican Committee, have some pizza and watch the vice-presidential debate.  There wasn't any similar event for the first presidential debate, as the status of it was still up in the air the day of the actual debate.  The RTC also reports a higher interest in the vice-presidential debate among members.

"This is the first time a woman is the Republican ticket so that in itself makes it totally unique," says Norwalk Republican Committee Chairman Art Scialabba.

The "Pizza and Palin" fundraiser starts at 6 p.m. at the home of John Romano, 179 East Rocks Road.  Attendees are encouraged to give a $20 donation.
